Non-Equilibrium and Correlation Effects in Low-Dimensional Structures
2005 Workshop


 

April 29-May 1, 2005

Physics of low-dimensional electronic structures continues to uncover new, unexpected phenomena. Among the topics of the workshop are the recently discovered zero-resistance states of a two-dimensional electron gas subject to the microwave radiation, and drag and interlayer coherence effects in double-layer structures. The workshop will bring together about 30-40 experimentalists and theorists actively working in these areas. We plan to have approximately 20 plenary-style talks (40-45 minutes in length) aimed at giving a comprehensive and up-to-date status of this exciting and rapidly developing field of knowledge.
