We are proud to announce the workshop, “Frontiers Beyond the Standard Model III” (FBSM III) sponsored by the William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute (FTPI) at the University of Minnesota. This exciting event will be held in Minneapolis from Thursday, October 11, to Saturday, October 13, 2012.

Over the past several years there has been a tremendous amount of activity in physics beyond the standard model. This is coupled with the prospect of exciting new results at the LHC.The discovery of the Higgs boson will clearly affect our understanding of the Standard Model and beyond. It has been eight years since FBSM II, and we expect the workshop to shed light on the immediate direction of physics beyond the Standard Model. The workshop will gather together about 40 active scientists in theoretical particle physics to present and discuss current and new developments in physics beyond the standard model. We envisage plenary-style talks of 30 minutes in length with the aim that the ever expanding frontier of this exciting field will be fully covered.

Participation in the event is by invitation only. We welcome participation of graduate students. Please contact us with any questions by email at frontiers2012 (at)
