We are delighted to announce the workshop, “Correlated Oxides and Oxide Interfaces” sponsored by the William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute (FTPI) at the University of Minnesota and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. This exciting event will be held in Minneapolis from the morning of Thursday, May 1, to the afternoon of Sunday, May 4, 2014.

This workshop will cover novel experimental and theoretical developments in the field of correlated oxides. The goal of the workshop is to bring together leading experts in the study of correlated oxide interfaces, heterostructures and bulk heterogeneities.

Participation in the event is by invitation only. We welcome participation of graduate students and postdocs. Please contact us with any questions by email at correlatedoxides (at) physics.umn.edu.
