Correlated electron systems workshop banner

We are pleased to announce the workshop on Correlated electron systems – novel developments, jointly sponsored by the William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute, the Moore Foundation, and the Center for Quantum Materials at the University of Minnesota. The workshop will be held in Minneapolis from Wednesday, May 16, to Saturday, May 19, 2018 (ending at around lunch time).
This workshop will cover novel experimental and theoretical developments in the field of correlated electron systems. The goal of the workshop is to bring together leading experts in the study of the cuprate and Fe-based superconductors, titanates, nickelates, and other systems. We hope to make the meeting attractive to both theorists and experimentalists in the field, with the primary aim being the stimulation of discussions and promotion of interactions among the participants.

Participation is by invitation only. We welcome participation of post docs and graduate students. Please contact us with questions by email at
